Alisher Ganiev becomes world champion in wrestling

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —  At the U23 World Wrestling Championship in Albania, the Uzbekistan national team won its first gold medal.

The national anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was played in honor of Alisher Ganiev, who competed in the 60 kg weight category.

In the final, the Uzbek wrestler faced Dinislam Bammatov, representing a neutral flag. In a fierce contest, Ganiev emerged victorious with a score of 8-4.
