Abdulaziz Kamilov holds meeting with Vice Speaker of the Italian Chamber of Deputies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – On 12 December 2019, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Vice Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Republic Maria Eder Spadoni in Rome.

The conversation discussed the prospects of intensifying inter-parliamentary ties, strengthening the legislative framework of Uzbek-Italian relations. In this regard, the importance of cooperation within the framework of the parliamentary groups “Uzbekistan-Italy” in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and the friendship group “Italy-Uzbekistan” in the Italian Parliament was emphasized.

The sides also examined the participation of observers from Italy in the parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan on 22 December and other pressing issues on the bilateral agenda.
