A schoolboy in Angren died after a fight

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In Angren (Tashkent region), on 20 March, a schoolboy died as a result of a fight between two schoolchildren. This was reported by the regional department of preschool and school education.

The conflict arose late in the evening, around 11:30 p.m., when 9th grade student M. D. (born in 2008) quarreled with O. A. (born in 2006). As a result of the injuries received, O. A. died.

In connection with this incident, a criminal case was opened under paragraph “e” of Part 3 of Article 104 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan, which envisages criminal liability for intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim.
