A meeting was organized on the construction project of the Tashkent-Samarkand toll road

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 24 July this year, at the Ministry of Transport, Ilkhom Makhkamov received representatives of the EBRD on the implementation of the project for the construction of the Tashkent-Samarkand toll road on the basis of public-private partnership. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport.

Proyapı Mühendislik ve Müşavirlik A.Ş was hired by the EBRD to develop a feasibility study for this project.

The cost of developing a feasibility study amounted to US$1.5 million at the expense of grant funds.

During the meeting, issues related to accelerating the development of a feasibility study for the project and organizing tender processes to determine a private partner were discussed.
