A man detained for stealing purse with money

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – An unknown person stole a purse with 1.05 million soums, US$2,500 and two banking cards in Tashkent.

The purse was stolen from Orlando card in Abay street of Tashkent, the Uzbek Interior Ministry said in a statement.

A criminal case was initiated.

As a result of the measures taken, the suspect I.F., who lives in Zangiota district of Tashkent region, was identified and arrested for theft. The investigation is underway.
