A Malibu driver knocked down a pedestrian to death in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A publication circulated on social networks about a traffic accident in Mirabad district. Tashkent city police reported the following.

On 12 February, at about 23.00, on Yangi Kuylik Street in Mirabad district, the driver of the Malibu car I.A. hit a pedestrian. As a result of the accident, a 45-year-old man died from his injuries at the scene.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under part 2 of article 266 (“Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles”) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. An investigation is underway.
