Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A charter flight carrying 27 Uzbek citizens who violated migration laws in Sweden and Poland arrived at Tashkent International Airport, Dunyo reported.

The citizens’ return was organized through cooperation between the competent authorities of Uzbekistan, Sweden and Poland. Upon their arrival in the capital, the citizens were met by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant agencies.

The returning citizens expressed their gratitude to Uzbekistan’s leadership and the competent authorities for assisting with their return home and providing support.

The organization of the charter flight resulted from coordination between the relevant agencies of the three countries. Uzbek authorities noted that such cooperation is aimed at protecting the rights and interests of Uzbek citizens abroad, taking into account Uzbekistan’s international obligations and the laws of their countries of stay.

Meanwhile, the competent authorities continue efforts to improve legal awareness among citizens planning to travel abroad. Particular attention is being paid to preventing violations of migration requirements in host countries.
