Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- According to the State Committee on Statistics, 10.4 million tons of vegetables were grown in the republic in 2020. This is 102.4% more than in the previous year.

The volume of grown vegetables by region:

Karakalpakstan – 287.7 thousand tonnes 

Andijan – 1 611.0 thousand tonnes

Bukhara – 768.6 thousand tonnes

Jizzakh – 425.3 thousand tonnes

Kashkadarya – 495.6 thousand tonnes

Navoi – 291.1 thousand tonnes

Namangan – 831.7 thousand tonnes

Samarkand – 1 636.3 thousand tonnes

Surkhandarya – 1,013. 5 thousand tonnes

Syrdarya – 307.0 thousand tonnes

Tashkent – 1 066,9 thousand tonnes

Ferghana – 1,128. 6 thousand tonnes
