What type of fuel is most widely used in Uzbekistan?

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- As of 1 January 2022 (according to the results of a technical inspection), methane (compressed gas) is the most popular fuel for vehicles owned by individuals in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In the total number of cars owned by individuals, the share of vehicles using methane became the highest (65%). Next, in terms of prevalence, are gasoline (24.4%), propane (8.4%) and diesel fuel (2.2%).
