Uztemiryulcontainer Expands Fleet with 250 New High-Cube Containers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — JSC Uztemiryulcontainer acquired 250 new 40-foot high-cube (40 HC) heavy-duty containers as part of its corporate development strategy for 2025–2030, according to an official statement from the company.
The newly procured units are designated primarily for import and export freight transport along the trade corridor connecting China and Uzbekistan.
Under the company's long-term development strategy, Uztemiryulcontainer plans to expand its operational fleet by a total of 1,000 modern heavy-duty containers. The delivery of these 250 units marks the latest phase of the equipment expansion initiative.
According to company officials, the addition of new container units is intended to expand total transport capacity, modernize existing operational assets, and maintain continuous container freight service across international routes.
Moving forward, Uztemiryulcontainer plans to deploy the additional capacity to service growing cargo volumes between Uzbekistan and China while continuing efforts to expand comprehensive logistics services, broaden international freight routes, and optimize transit costs.
