Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Tashkent city administration has approved a list of 18 certified companies authorised to manufacture signs and outdoor advertising structures in compliance with the requirements of the city's design code. The administration's press service reported the decision.
The list was published as part of the Design Code project, which establishes uniform rules for building facades and the placement of advertising structures on selected city streets.
Businesses can contact the certified companies to bring their signs and the exterior appearance of their premises into compliance with the established requirements.
Employees of the companies included in the list have completed training courses organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tashkent Invest and the Tashkent city department of the Competition Committee, with the participation of the Marketing Association of Uzbekistan.
The approved companies are Siymo, Agm Group, Sns Dizayn, Faza, Feska.Uz, Gunn-Star, Masterskaya Pechati, Modern Print Service, New Led Technology, Bi Media, Usso Design, Artvision, Focus Advertising, Mediahub, Delovoy Gorod, Reg-Family, Biznes Bomond and Union TBK.
The city administration has also launched the @DizaynKodBot Telegram bot to provide information to businesses. It allows users to review requirements for building design and outdoor advertising placement on streets where businesses operate.
Additional consultations are available through district administrations. Contact details have been published separately for the Almazar, Bektemir, Mirobod, Mirzo Ulugbek, Sergeli, Uchtepa, Chilanzar, Shaykhantahur, Yunusabad, Yakkasaray, Yangihayot and Yashnabad districts.
Tashkent's design code was developed by CM International on behalf of Toshkent Invest Kompaniyasi. In February 2026, the city council of people's deputies approved its implementation.
The document sets out rules for the appearance of commercial properties, the placement of signs and advertising structures, the use of adjacent areas and the formation of the capital's visual identity.
In August 2026, the city administration announced adjustments to its approach to implementing the design code following feedback from businesses. It said it intended to place greater emphasis on open dialogue, informing entrepreneurs and considering individual issues on a case-by-case basis.
