Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The net profit of Uzbekistan’s Joint Stock Company "Uzbektelecom" for the first three quarters of 2024 amounted to 17.4 billion soums, which is a 33.5% decrease compared to the same period of last year.
In the first quarter, the company’s profit reached 104 billion soums, while in the second quarter, it was 203.6 billion soums.
Interest expenses increased by 29% year-on-year for Q3, totaling 347.3 billion soums (compared to 269.1 billion soums last year). Long-term debt from bank loans grew by 69.2%, reaching 6.8 trillion soums.
The company’s assets increased by 20.9% year-on-year, reaching 12.3 trillion soums, while its equity rose by 3.3% to 2.5 trillion soums.
Revenue for the third quarter increased by 13% year-on-year, amounting to 6.6 trillion soums.
