Uzbekneftegaz starts development of mini-GTL facility

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekneftegaz national holding company started to develop a pilot mini-facility on production of synthetic liquid hydrocarbons (GTL facility).

The project cost is estimated at US$20 million. The facility will process 10 million cubic meters of gas and produce 6,000 tonnes of goods. It is expected that the facility will be commissioned in a year.

If the experiment is successful, it will be profitable to use small gas fields, which are not developed now.
