Classifieds Platform Uzum Avto Launches Nationwide in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The digital platform for buying and selling vehicles, Uzum Avto, has scaled its operations and become accessible to residents of all regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the pilot testing stage, the functionality of the mobile application was temporarily restricted and provided exclusively to users located within the territories of the Andijan, Namangan, and Ferghana regions. Currently, the online service's database has accumulated offers for cars from more than 50 global and local brands. At the same time, publications regarding the sale of Lacetti, Cobalt, and Spark models from the automaker Chevrolet remain the most in demand among individuals and professional market participants.
The developers cite a simplified algorithm for posting publications combined with data verification as the key technological advantage of the platform. To launch the sale procedure, it is sufficient for the vehicle owner to enter the car's state registration plate number into the system, upload current photographs, and set the desired price.
The collection and filling of all other technical characteristics of the car are carried out by the service in an automated mode, which reduces the time required to create a product card to one minute. Meanwhile, the option to post commercial offers remains free of charge for both individuals and official car dealers.
In order to protect users from fraudulent activities, all incoming advertisements undergo mandatory automatic moderation using artificial intelligence technologies. Integrated intelligent algorithms recognize and promptly block duplicate publications, fake accounts, as well as deliberately unreliable or incorrect information, ensuring the purity and relevance of the database.
At this stage, buyers have the opportunity to communicate directly with car owners through internal communication channels, and as part of the further development of the ecosystem, the application plans to launch a function for remote processing of auto loans from partner banks.
