Uzbekneftegaz Discusses Seismic Equipment Purchase with INOVA
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekneftegaz held a meeting in Tashkent with INOVA Regional Director Jan Jouneur to discuss the purchase of modern seismic equipment for geological exploration.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the International Investment Forum.
The forum is being held from 16 to 18 June under the theme “Investment Stability: New Horizons, New Partnership” and is expected to bring together more than 3,400 foreign delegates from 100 countries.
The meeting was attended by Uzbekneftegaz Chairman Abdugani Sanginov.
During the talks, the parties discussed the procurement of advanced seismic equipment for geological exploration work. The planned supply includes two 20,000-channel seismic systems, around 40,000 nodes, and 24 seismic vibrators.
Participants also reviewed the technical and economic aspects of the project, including possible optimization of contract costs.
The sides noted that the cooperation would improve the efficiency of geological exploration, introduce modern technologies, and expand investment cooperation in Uzbekistan’s oil and gas sector.
