Uzbekistan’s GDP makes up 96.59 trillion soums in 2012

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The volume of gross domestic product of Uzbekistan made up 96.59 trillion soums at current prices in January-December 2012, according to the preliminary data, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The committee said that the growth of GDP of Uzbekistan made up 8.2% year-on-year in January-December 2012.

In the structure of GDP by forms of ownership the share of the non-state sector is 83.6% (in January-December 2011 – 82.8%) and that of the state sector – 16.4% (17.2%).

Share of goods production in GDP’ structure made up 40.3% in 2012 (41.2% in January-December 2011) and share of services – 52% (50.5%).

Net taxes to products and export-import operations slipped from 8.3% of GDP in January-December 2011 to 7.7% in 2012.
