Uzbekistan wins 16 medals at Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships concluded in Bishkek, with the Uzbekistan national team delivering one of the strongest performances of the tournament, winning a total of 16 medals.
On the final day of competition, Uzbek gymnasts added five gold, two silver, and one bronze medal to their overall tally.
Takhmina Ikromova became a four-time Asian champion, winning gold medals in the hoop, ball, ribbon, and clubs events in the senior category.
Another gold medal for the team was secured by Anora Mamajonova, who won the junior clubs event.
Silver medals went to Natalia Usova in the senior ribbon event and Yasmine Zufarova in the junior ribbon competition.
Usova also claimed a bronze medal in the senior clubs event.
Overall, Uzbekistan finished the championships with 12 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals, confirming the strength of the country’s rhythmic gymnastics program on the continental stage.
