Uzbekistan Upgrades Schools Across Bukhara, Samarkand, Kashkadarya

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Capital repairs and reconstruction projects have been completed at general education schools across Bukhara, Samarkand, and Kashkadarya regions, according to Uzbekistan's Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The work was carried out under the "Sustainable Rural Development" and "Integrated Rural Development" (Phase Two) projects.

In the Shofirkon district of Bukhara region, School No. 6 in the Tezgozar mahalla underwent capital repairs, while a new classroom building designed for 180 students was constructed on the site.

In the Kogon district of Bukhara region, the renovated building of School No. 1, located in the Bahouddin Naqshband mahalla, was put into operation following major repair work.

In the Navruz mahalla of the Narpay district in Samarkand region, the existing building of School No. 42 was reconstructed alongside the construction of a new 120-seat classroom facility.

Another facility in the Shofirkon district, School No. 28 in the Mirzakul mahalla, also underwent comprehensive capital repairs.

Renovation work was additionally completed at School No. 18, located in the Oynakul mahalla of the Kamashi district in Kashkadarya region.

Events celebrating the reopening of the updated educational facilities are taking place for the new academic year.

The implementation of these projects aims to improve learning conditions and create modern educational opportunities for students in rural areas.
