Uzbekistan U-19 beats Poland in Hiroshima tournament

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan U-19 started an international tournament Balcom BMW Cup in Hiroshima (Japan) with victory over Poland.

According to the Uzbekistan Football Federation, the match ended with the score 2-2. In line with the tournament rules, the sides determined the winner in the penalty shootouts.

Uzbekistan scored six goals in penalty shootouts, while Poland netted only five of their shots.

Japan U-19 and Hiroshima U-19 are also participating in the tournament along with Uzbekistan and Japan.

Uzbekistan will play its next match against Japan on 11 August 2015.
