Spain, Cape Verde draw 0-0 at World Cup match Group stage

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The national teams of Spain and Cape Verde drew 0-0 in a group-stage match of the FIFA World Cup held in the United States. The match took place in Atlanta, Georgia.

For Cape Verde, the match marked its debut at the World Cup finals. It is the first time in the country’s history that the team is participating in the tournament.

Both teams compete in Group H and each earned one point from the match. Uruguay and Saudi Arabia also compete in the group and are scheduled to play later.

Spain will face Saudi Arabia on 21 June in their next group match, while Cape Verde will play Uruguay. That match is scheduled for the night of 22 June, Moscow time.
