Uzbekistan U-16 loses to Malaysia U-19

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan U-16, which is holding a training camp in Kuala Lumpur, played a friendly match against Malaysia U-19.

Uzbekistan Football Federation said that Aleksandr Mochinov’s side suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hand of Malaysia U-19. Malaysia scored two goals in each half of the match.

The camp in Malaysia will last till 31 August. After training camp, the delegation of Uzbekistan will head to Thailand, which will host the AFC U-16 Championship on 6-20 September 2014.

Uzbekistan will face Nepal, Kuwait and North Korea in the group stage of the AFC U-16 Championship.
