Uzbekistan to work with Japanese specialists in the field of standardization

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A meeting was held between a representative of the Japanese trading company Masui Co. Ltd. - Akiko Ichimi and Deputy Chairman of the Uztekstilprom Association B. Muhammadsaidov.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation with Uzbek enterprises were discussed, including responsible business conduct (business responsibility), expanding the export of textile products (in particular, organic cotton yarn, terry products and finished products), recycling issues. A further plan for visiting enterprises in Bukhara, Navoi and Samarkand from 1 to 3 February was also discussed. 

At the end of the negotiations, they agreed to prepare a joint program to control the quality of textile products produced in Uzbekistan for the Japanese market.
