Uzbekistan to create a pre-trial settlement of tax disputes

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Council of pre-judicial settlement of tax disputes between taxpayers and state tax authorities will be created in Uzbekistan.

This was approved by the President’s resolution "On Measures for the Basic Improvement of the Activity of the State Tax Service".

According to the resolution, the Council is created under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Council will make conclusions on disputable issues of application of tax legislation and consider disputes arising between the taxpayer and the state tax service in the event of a violation of tax legislation.

The new council will develop proposals to address the gaps in tax legislation that have been identified during the consideration of tax disputes.
