Uzbekistan to Build MOL Shopping Complex in Zangiata

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A major investment project to construct a modern Lifestyle MOL shopping complex worth US$11.5 million will be implemented in Zangiata district of Tashkent region.

The project was announced following talks held on the sidelines of the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum.

Zangiata district governor Erkin Rustamov held a meeting with Fan Xiaojun, head of ST Wonderful (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. from China, as well as company representatives. The discussions focused on increasing the district’s investment potential, developing entrepreneurship and the services sector, and creating new jobs.

The parties reached an agreement to implement the project in the Bogzor mahalla.

The new shopping complex is expected to become part of the region’s modern commercial infrastructure.

The project is expected to expand service offerings for the population, create new jobs, and further enhance the investment attractiveness of Zangiata district.
