Uzbekistan Temir Yollari transports 12,000 passengers on route Qoqand - Margilan - Andijan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Temir Yollari transported about 12,000 passengers from Qoqand-Margilan-Andijan and in the opposite direction from the beginning of August 2017 to the present day.

On 8 August 2017, the company launched train on the route Kokand - Margilan - Andijan and in the opposite direction.

Currently, one train runs on this route. But the company plans to increase the number of trains on this route to twice a day.

The company added that the passengers are spending 2 hours and 50 minutes to travel from the start to the end of the route.

The train consists of 6 wagons and it can carry 350 passengers only in one direction. The cars are equipped with soft and comfortable seats, monitors and air conditioning.
