Uzbekistan tax committee expands digital labeling control
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Tax Committee has upgraded the “Suspicious Cases” service in taxpayers’ personal accounts to help businesses independently identify and correct errors and discrepancies related to the digital labeling of goods. The Tax Committee said the information system automatically identifies cases requiring attention.
Taxpayers can now view and analyze suspicious cases detected by the system through their personal accounts.
The service displays information on stocks of goods with expired shelf lives, sales using duplicate labeling codes and cases in which another business entity sells products belonging to the taxpayer.
The system also identifies sales of goods for which there is no record of receipt, sales of labeled products without a labeling code using the MXIK code, and retail sales of labeled products without a connected 2D scanner.
The service also provides information on businesses that are not registered in the National Information System “Asl belgisi.”
The upgraded service includes a separate “Validation” section. It automatically generates information on cases involving an alleged attempt to resell a product by reusing a labeling code that has already been used for a completed sale. The data are presented by manufacturer.
To access the information, taxpayers must log in to their account on my.soliq.uz and open “Services,” followed by “Digital Labeled Products Turnover System” and “Suspicious Cases.”
According to the Tax Committee, the new functionality allows businesses to identify errors and discrepancies before an inspection and correct them independently.
The service is also intended to help prevent similar violations, ensure compliance with digital labeling requirements and reduce the time and financial costs associated with addressing such issues.
