Uzbekistan Signs US$2 Billion Deal With Vietnam's ROX Group in Bukhara
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A tripartite investment agreement was signed on 17 June 2026 at the fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum between the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Bukhara regional administration, and Vietnamese company ROX Group.
The document provides for the implementation of two investment projects with a combined value of US$2 billion. The projects are aimed at the construction of modern mixed-use urban complexes on the territory of Bukhara region.
The initiative envisages the creation of business centres, residential developments, social and infrastructure facilities, as well as landscaped public spaces and park areas. The projects involve the comprehensive development of the urban environment and the formation of new modern districts.
ROX Group is a major Vietnamese diversified company operating in the fields of energy, urban development, tourism, and financial services.
The implementation of the agreement is regarded as part of the expansion of investment cooperation and the development of infrastructure projects in Uzbekistan.
