Uzbekistan Signs Tourism Development Agreements at TIIF-2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan initiated the signing of a series of strategic documents with foreign partners. The concluded agreements and memorandums are aimed at modernizing the country's tourism infrastructure, scaling up the hotel business, and attracting foreign investment.
Strengthening ties with the People's Republic of China became one of the key vectors. The Project Office for Tourism Infrastructure Development under the relevant committee concluded a memorandum with the China Chamber of Tourism under the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.
The parties agreed to jointly design tourist zones, implement modern approaches when creating profile clusters, and exchange professional experience. In addition, the Uzbek tourism company Travel Together signed an agreement with the Chinese company Shaanxi Keda-Gaoxin International Culture & Technology Group Co., Ltd. This document is focused on launching joint cultural projects and promoting the recreational potential of Uzbekistan in the Chinese market.
In the hotel industry sphere, the Tourism Committee approved a General Agreement on cooperation with the international network Argyle Hotels Group. The partnership provides for the integration of global hospitality standards and attracting new world brands to the republic.
In parallel, the Uzbek company FT Hotels Group agreed on cooperation with the international hotel operator Minor Hotels for the joint design of hotels, exchange of management experience, and brand development.
The forum participants paid special attention to the architectural appearance of tourist sites. The Tourism Committee signed a memorandum with the company Architectural and Urban Planning Portal, within the framework of which it is planned to develop advanced urban planning and planning solutions for the recreational territories of Uzbekistan.
Experts note that the reached agreements demonstrate a consistent growth of interest from large foreign investors in the tourism sector of the Central Asian region.
