This figure surpasses the previous milestone set in April, when the country first exceeded one million inbound tourists in a single month.
This positive momentum reflects the success of ongoing tourism sector reforms, aimed at creating a more welcoming and accessible environment for global travelers. As a result, Uzbekistan is increasingly viewed as a vibrant and attractive destination on the international tourism map.
Key to this growth is the implementation of strategic measures outlined in Presidential decrees and resolutions, focusing on sectoral development. Priority areas include increased investment, expansion of visa-free travel regimes, and active participation in global tourism fairs and forums. This comprehensive approach has significantly enhanced the country’s international image and contributed to the sustainable growth of inbound tourism.
