Uzbekistan Revokes License of GLOBAL INSURANCE GROUP

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has revoked the license of the joint-stock insurance company GLOBAL INSURANCE GROUP, effective May 9, 2026, the National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP) said.

The decision was made in accordance with national licensing legislation.

According to the agency, the revocation is based on Article 34 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Licensing, Permitting and Notification Procedures,” as well as paragraph 52 of Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 80 dated 21 February 2022.

The affected license, series SF No. 00035, was issued on 25 February 2022 through the state electronic licensing system.

NAPP stated that the company remains obligated to fulfill all commitments under previously concluded insurance and reinsurance contracts in accordance with established procedures.
