Uzbekistan moves three places up in FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.

Uzbekistan jumped three places up in new ranking and now holds 71st place in the world.

Uzbekistan is on the fourth place among the Asian states after Iran (51st place), Japan (54) and South Korea (69).

Uzbekistan holds the third place among the CIS states. Ukraine (25 place) and Russia (31) are ahead of Uzbekistan.

Germany, Argentina and Columbia are top three nations in the FIFA ranking.
