Uzbekistan Midfielder Aziz Ganiev Joins UAE’s Baniyas

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan national team midfielder Aziz Ganiev has signed a contract with UAE football club Baniyas as the team strengthens its squad ahead of the upcoming season, Baniyas said.

Ganiev signed the contract in the presence of club board member Ahmed Al-Jabri, who welcomed the Uzbek midfielder to the team and wished him success at the next stage of his career.

Ganiev has experience playing in the UAE’s ADNOC Pro League and continues to represent Uzbekistan at international level.

His previous club was Shabab Al Ahli. In the 2025/26 season, the team won the ADNOC Pro League title.

Ganiev also achieved several successes with the club in domestic competitions.

Baniyas expects the midfielder’s experience and playing qualities to strengthen the squad and contribute to achieving the club’s objectives in the upcoming season.
