Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan Discuss Expanding Strategic Partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov on 27 July received copies of the credentials of Kazakhstan’s newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan Yeraly Tugzhanov.

During the meeting, Saidov noted the high level of strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. He said bilateral relations were developing dynamically across all areas thanks to a trusting dialogue and the political will of the two countries’ leaders.

The sides discussed further increasing bilateral trade, expanding industrial cooperation and interregional ties. Particular attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of joint transport and logistics projects.

Saidov wished Tugzhanov success in carrying out his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
