Uzbekistan, Jordan Establish Joint Cooperation Commission
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has approved a resolution endorsing an international agreement establishing a joint commission on bilateral cooperation between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The document provides for the creation of a new mechanism of interaction between the two countries aimed at developing and coordinating cooperation across various sectors. The agreement was signed on 26 August 2025, in the city of Samarkand.
Under the decree, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been designated as the authorized body responsible for implementing the provisions of the international agreement.
The Cabinet of Ministers, along with heads of relevant ministries and agencies, will ensure oversight of the agreement’s implementation after it enters into force and coordinate its practical execution in accordance with established procedures.
