Uzbekistan Increases Lemon Exports More Than Twofold

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan exported 4,100 tonnes of lemons worth US$4.2 million in January–June 2026, according to data released by the National Statistics Committee.

The delivery volume increased by 2.2 times compared to the same period last year.

Kazakhstan emerged as the largest export destination, importing 2,300 tonnes of lemons from Uzbekistan during the first six months of the year. Russia ranked second, receiving 1,700 tonnes of shipments. Uzbekistan also exported 163.7 tonnes of lemons to Kyrgyzstan.

Shipment volumes to other destinations were substantially smaller. A total of 18 tonnes was delivered to Afghanistan, while 2.4 tonnes went to the United Arab Emirates. An additional 3 tonnes were shipped to other markets.

Consequently, Kazakhstan and Russia accounted for approximately 4,000 tonnes of the total 4,100 tonnes of lemons exported by Uzbekistan in January–June 2026.
