Uzbekistan increases electricity production by 1.2%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased its electricity generation by 1.2% in January 2020 compared to the same period of 2019.

In the reporting period, according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the country’s enterprises generated about 6.1 billion kW/h of electricity.

Also in January, 3.81 million Gcal of heat energy was produced in Uzbekistan, which is 0.03% more compared to the same period of 2019.
