Uzbekistan Holds Business Networking Event in Hong Kong

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A non-formal business meeting was held in Hong Kong with the participation of more than 150 entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of leading business associations and official circles of the region.

The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan together with JSC “Trade Development Company” and took place in an open dialogue and business networking format.

The meeting was aimed at expanding economic ties and discussing investment opportunities. Organizers emphasized that the format went beyond traditional business negotiations, creating a platform for direct communication between businesses of the two countries and for discussing prospects for cooperation.

During the event, an investment presentation on Uzbekistan’s economic potential was delivered to Hong Kong business circles. Participants were introduced to key sectors of the country’s economy and opportunities for joint project implementation.

Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhabov stated that the meeting served as an important link between Uzbekistan’s policy of economic openness and Hong Kong’s status as one of the world’s leading financial centers.

He said such platforms help build practical business connections and foster mutually beneficial partnerships.

It is expected that negotiations initiated during the event may lead to new contracts and increased investment inflows into Uzbekistan’s economy in the near future.
