Uzbekistan–Germany Trade Exceeds US$411 Million in 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Committee on Statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Germany amounted to US$411.6 million in January–April 2026.

It was noted that the figure increased by US$20.2 million compared to the same period in 2025.

In the structure of trade turnover, Uzbekistan’s exports to Germany totaled US$52.4 million, while imports from Germany reached US$359.2 million.

In terms of investment cooperation, as of 1 May 2026, there were 240 enterprises operating in Uzbekistan with German capital participation.

The volume of investments and loans from Germany utilized in fixed capital in January–March 2026 amounted to US$205.3 million.

In the tourism sector, the number of German citizens visiting Uzbekistan reached 10,989, while 2,981 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Germany.

In education, 42 German citizens arrived in Uzbekistan for study purposes, while 190 citizens of Uzbekistan went to Germany to pursue education.
