Uzbekistan calls to settle Palestinian-Israeli conflict through talks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The public of Uzbekistan perceives with big alarm the escalation of tension in the Gaza Strip, which undermines the peace process of settling the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the prospects of stabilization of situation in the Middle East, Jahon news agency of Foreign Affairs Ministry of Uzbekistan.

The fierce battles in the Gaza Strip have already led to numerous human casualties and humanitarian crisis. The resolution of the conflict with the use of force may not have any prospects, the message reads.

The public of Uzbekistan calls upon the conflicting parties to stop the hostilities and settle the existing differences by way of negotiations, it concludes.
