Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s National Canine Centre and the Canine Centre of Burkina Faso’s Customs Service discussed prospects for cooperation on the sidelines of the 7th Global Canine Forum.
The meeting focused on exchanging experience, training service dogs and improving the professional skills of specialists, Uzbekistan’s Customs Committee press service said.
Representatives of the two centres considered possible areas of cooperation in canine services, including the exchange of practical experience and training of service dogs. Particular attention was paid to the professional development of canine specialists.
The Burkina Faso delegation also familiarised itself with the activities of Uzbekistan’s National Canine Centre and expressed interest in the service dogs bred and trained there.
Representatives of Burkina Faso’s customs service expressed interest in acquiring service dogs from Uzbekistan and developing cooperation in this area.
Following the meeting, the sides confirmed their readiness to maintain contacts and develop practical cooperation in canine services.
