Uzbekistan, Bahrain officials hold talks in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Bahrain delegation led by Minister of Finance Sheik Haled Bin Ahmad Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa arrived to Tashkent with a state visit on 4 June.

The visit was aimed at the signing an agreement between Uzbekistan and Bahrain on avoidance of double taxation.

Delegation also visited Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan on the same day, where met with its Chairman Alisher Shaikhov.

In the result of the meeting an agreement on cooperation between Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Bahrain was signed.

The sides intend to develop cooperation in oil and gas sphere, horticultural products export from Uzbekistan, establishment of join ventures on production of consumer products, and tourism development.
