Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan has automated the entry of data on foreign currency receipts from goods exports into value-added tax (VAT) returns, with information now populated automatically using data from customs authorities, the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan reported.
The changes affect lines 060 and 070 of Appendix No. 3 and line 01042 of Appendix No. 6 to the VAT return. A new VAT reporting package, No. 10006_47, has been made available in taxpayers’ personal accounts to support the updated mechanism.
Exporters can check information on their export transactions, corresponding cargo customs declarations and foreign currency receipts through the my.soliq.uz portal.
To do so, users should open the “Services” section, select “Cargo Customs Declarations for Legal Entities”, go to “Export Transactions” and use the “General Information on Export Transactions and Payments” service.
If information on foreign currency receipts is incomplete or technical problems occur, the data can be refreshed using the “Refresh Data” button and the taxpayer identification number (TIN). The update is performed automatically through integration with the Customs Committee’s information systems.
The Tax Committee recommends that exporters verify information on foreign currency receipts through the service before submitting their VAT returns.
The existing proactive reporting form will remain available for cases in which the automatically generated data does not require adjustments.
