Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Rustam Karimjonov held talks with representatives of Malaysia’s Shoraka Group, one of the country’s largest Islamic FinTech corporations.

During the discussions, the sides addressed the development of the digital economy, the introduction of modern financial technologies, and prospects for implementing joint projects in financial solutions based on Islamic finance principles.

Special attention was given to the creation of innovative financial platforms, expanding access to financial services, and introducing secure technological solutions for businesses and users.

The sides also reviewed opportunities for cooperation in developing the digital finance ecosystem, attracting international expertise, and implementing new technological initiatives.

Following the meeting, the parties identified further areas of cooperation, including expanding the exchange of experience at the intersection of digital technologies and finance, as well as the implementation of joint projects.
