Uzbekistan and Belarus Expand Industrial Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 April, on the sidelines of the International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia,” a meeting took place between the Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, and the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Kuznetsov.
During the talks, the sides reviewed a broad range of issues of bilateral cooperation, focusing on the practical implementation of joint projects in the agro-industrial sector and the electrical engineering industry.
A key topic of the meeting was the development of industrial cooperation, primarily in mechanical engineering. The participants discussed current cooperation indicators and identified further steps to expand joint production facilities.
A separate part of the negotiations was dedicated to increasing mutual trade. The sides analyzed the structure of supplies and agreed on coordinated measures aimed at boosting trade turnover.
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in deepening strategic partnership and creating favorable conditions for expanding business activity between the two countries.
