Uzbekistan, Albania Presidents Plant Tree in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Albania Bajram Begaj took part in a tree-planting ceremony at the Alley of Honourable Guests in Tashkent.

The ceremony took place following high-level Uzbekistan–Albania talks held in the capital.

The traditional ceremony symbolises the strengthening of friendly relations, mutual trust, and expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Albania. The planted tree represents the two countries’ commitment to further developing bilateral dialogue and implementing joint initiatives across various sectors.

The event marked the beginning of a new stage in Uzbekistan–Albania relations, based on principles of mutual respect, partnership, and support.

The ceremony was held as part of official events accompanying the Albanian president’s state visit to Uzbekistan and further underscored the commitment of both sides to strengthening interstate ties and expanding international cooperation.
