Uzbek Interior Ministry, FBI discuss cooperation in combating international terrorism

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Minister of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan Major-General Pulat Bobojonov received a US delegation headed by Deputy Director of the FBI David Bowdich.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan, the parties discussed issues of further bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan and the US FBI in the field of combating international terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, trafficking in human beings, illegal migration and other manifestations of crime.

Representatives of law enforcement agencies of the two countries reviewed issues of the exchange of confidential information, training of law enforcement officers, holding seminars and trainings, as well as tasks for the future of cooperation.
