Uzbek Firms Secure US$20M Export Deals in Germany

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Association O‘zeltexsanoat and companies from the electrical engineering sector participated in the Wire & Tube Düsseldorf 2026 international exhibition in Germany, showcasing under the national “Made in Uzbekistan” pavilion.

The event was held in Düsseldorf, where a wide range of electrical engineering products from Uzbek manufacturers was presented.

As part of the exhibition, B2B negotiations were held with companies from Europe and the United States. Discussions covered cable product supplies, copper tube production localization projects in cooperation with German company Starofit, and opportunities to enter the European Union market with the involvement of the CzechTrade agency.

Following the negotiations, a number of export agreements were signed. In particular, LLC Metsol concluded deals with Slovenia’s Zikas, while LLC Metal Processing Technology signed agreements with partners from Germany. In addition, Sharq Tubes and Artikul Aziya Kabel reached cooperation agreements with companies from Germany and Austria.

The total value of export contracts secured for 2026 amounted to US$20 million. These agreements are expected to strengthen the position of Uzbek manufacturers in international markets and expand the export potential of the sector.
