Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Yodgora Ziyomukhamedova, an actress known for her work in theatre, film and dubbing, has died at the age of 74.
More than 34 years of her artistic career were associated with Uzbekistan’s State Theatre of Young Spectators, where she created around 100 stage characters.
Among her best-known roles were Little Red Riding Hood in “Little Red Riding Hood,” Kumush in “Zumrad and Kimmat,” Sanobar in “Farzandim Jigarbandim,” Nazira in “Sening Taqdiring,” Pokiza in “Yarash-Yarash,” Gulnur in “Burgut” and Oltinoy in “The First Teacher.”
Yodgora Ziyomukhamedova also worked extensively in television and film.
For 25 years, she hosted the television programme “Oqshom Ertaklari.”
