UWED to resume training in political science

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) will resume training in political science from the new academic year 2019-2020.

This is stipulated by the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On measures to increase the effectiveness of training, basic and applied research in the field of political sciences” dated 29 January.

It should be recalled  that in 2013, the universities of Uzbekistan stopped training specialists in the field of political science.

According to the resolution of the President, the Department of Political Science will be opened at the UWED.

The resolution approved admission quotas for the new academic year: 20 bachelors in Political Science (including 5 on a grant basis), 10 masters in Applied Political Science (2), as well as 4 basic doctoral students and 2 doctoral students in the specialty Political science.
