US Police Arrest Street Racing Suspects in Ohio

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Authorities in the city of Cincinnati in the US state of Ohio have detained several individuals, including people of Uzbek origin, on suspicion of involvement in illegal street racing, according to US media reports.

Sources said a group of young people was engaged in drifting and performing dangerous driving stunts on the grounds of Paycor Stadium. Police used a drone to monitor the activity, which helped block escape routes and led to the detention of six individuals.

Those detained have been charged with unlawful entry. One of the participants is also accused of organizing or taking part in illegal street racing activities.

The court set bail at US$2,500 for each charge.

As part of the investigation, police also impounded vehicles including Audi, BMW, Ford Mustang, and Dodge Challenger models.
